Welcome......Watch a Replica Being Built

In October 2006, we visited a car show at Longview Community College.  One of the cars that was there was a 1901 Curved Dash Oldsmobile.  We really liked that car and want to find out more about it.  So we search the internet and found plans for a 3/4 sized replica of that car.  My wife asked me to build a replica, and I decided that would be a fun thing to do.  I had some old lawn mower motors, truck springs etc. that I could use.  I started to think of how I would design the car.  My wife decided that we should have clothes of that period to wear and purchased a couple of hats.  This website was put up to show family and friends the progress on the project.

Even if I don't put much text on my home page, it's a good idea to include hidden tools that will help me promote my site, so people other than my friends and family actually see it. For example, I could add meta tags, which are hidden codes that allow search engines to find my site. I could also install stats and a counter so I know how many people are visiting. If not many are visiting, submitting my site to search engines will guide more traffic to my site.
